Hey B, what's up?

Hey A, I'm doing good. Just a bit worried about DDoS attacks.

Yeah, they can be quite nasty. How do we prevent them?

Well, we can use firewalls and load balancers to block the malicious traffic.

That sounds like a good start. But what about botnets?

Hmm, we can't really prevent them. But we can detect them and block the IPs.

Ah, got it. And what about DNS amplification attacks?

We can use DNS servers that have enabled query rate limits and use strict access controls.

You really know your stuff, B.

Thanks! It's all part of the job.

I just hope we never have to deal with a massive DDoS attack.

Agreed. But if we do, we'll be ready for it.

(laughs) Yeah, we'll be like the Avengers, but for cyber attacks.

(laughs) I like that analogy. We'll be the Cyber Avengers.

So, who's your favorite Avenger, B?

Definitely Iron Man. He's a genius, just like us.

(laughs) Yeah, we're geniuses too. But we don't have a suit of armor, unfortunately.

Maybe we should invest in some cyber armor. (laughs)

(laughs) That's a great idea. We'll be like knights protecting our castle from DDoS dragons.

(laughs) I love it. Cyber armor for the win!

(laughs) Alright, enough joking around. Let's get back to the serious stuff.

(smiling) Alright, let's do this.
