Hi there, I'm excited to cook up some delicious local dishes in this small eatery.

It's great to have you here, Chef A. We want to make sure our menu reflects the authentic flavor of the area.

Understood. I was thinking of starting with a classic dish like pork leg noodle soup, but adding my own spin to it.

Sounds good to me. Do you have any recommendations for a side dish?

How about some pineapple cakes? They're a local favorite and I love making them.

Perfect! We'll definitely include them on the menu. What ingredients do we need?

For the pork leg noodle soup, we'll need pork legs, noodles, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and spices. For the pineapple cakes, we'll need flour, butter, sugar, egg yolk, and pineapples.

Got it. I'll make sure we have everything in stock. Have you tried any of the local street food yet?

Oh yeah, I tried the stinky tofu last night at the night market. It wasn't my favorite, but I loved the oyster omelet.

Haha, the stinky tofu definitely isn't for everyone. But the oyster omelet is one of my personal favorites too.

I also noticed that tea is pretty popular here. Do you have any recommendations for a good tea shop?

Definitely, there's a shop down the street that has amazing bubble tea. Want to go check it out after our shift?

Sounds like a plan! I can't wait to try it.
